Dear Reader,
As many of you know, I had a total hip replacement in January 2024. During recovery, I wrote a blog starting from the hospital ward - perhaps those insights came from the intensity of surgery (and maybe the painkillers!), but either way, I'd entered a new phase of life.
I used my practice before surgery to manage my condition, and I trusted it after surgery to heal. And heal I have. Now I'm ready to work with you again.
I've learned much about facing pain, engaging with our bodies, and finding an easier path that often dissolves the pain sensations we identify with. I'm more certain than ever that the Scaravelli-inspired yoga approach I've trusted can help anyone gain insights that lead to genuine healing.
Healing isn't a term we use much in Hatha Yoga, but it's a process of meeting ourselves at unconscious levels that leads to lasting change - change for our betterment and the benefit of our whole lives.
Since last summer, I've only taught one-to-one sessions and at the Ventnor Fringe Festival, so this marks a significant return to small group classes.

Weekend Retreat Coming?
For those who can't commit to a weekly class but are interested in something more immersive, I'm also considering running a weekend retreat in late October. If that speaks to you, reply to this email and I'll send you the details as soon as they're ready.
I'd love to see you again and share this next phase of practice together.
Warm wishes,
Erling
